APSU students gear up for Dance Marathon to benefit Children’s Hospital

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – For several hours, students at Austin Peay State University will dance the night away, while lending a helping hand, at the annual Dance Marathon.

The event, which benefits the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, begins at 6:00pm, Friday, September 23rd in the Foy Fitness and Recreation Center on APSU’s campus.

With the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, 100 percent of local donations are used to help numerous kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.

The Dance Marathon generates revenue from event sponsors and participant fundraising.
