Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water construction crews will continue water valve replacement and new water service line installation work on College Street today and Thursday resulting in road closures and water outages in the surrounding area.
Today from 9:00am to 5:00pm, construction crews will close the outer southbound lane of College Street from Red River Street to Ninth Street and Poston Street from College to St. John Street. A water outage will also be in effect for College Street from Red River to Poston and on Poston Street from College to Arctic Street.
On Thursday from 5:30pm to 5:00am, friday morning crews will close the intersection of College Street and Ninth Street. Ninth Street will be closed from College to St. John Street and from College to Main Street. Traffic will be detoured to Poston Road and Main Street. A water outage will be in effect on Ninth Street from Franklin to College Street, on Ninth from College to Marion Street, on Marion Street from Ford to Ninth and on St. John from Ford to Poston Street.
