Late Night Shooting

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Around 2:18am, two men, 24 and 29 years old, were shot in the parking lot of Cutters Bar and Grill, 1148 College Street. The 29 year old was shot in the buttocks and 24 year old was shot in the lower abdomen.

Police arrived on the scene within minutes of the 911 call, but both victims were already on the way to the Gateway in a privately owned vehicle. After their arrival at Gateway, both were transferred to Vanderbilt; the 29 year old was stable and transported by ambulance and the 24 year old was considered Critical and transported by Lifeflight.

When officers arrived on scene, vehicles and patrons of the business were hurriedly leaving the parking, so there was not too much information readily available to investigators as to the circumstances behind the shooting.

Police know the shooting occurred in the lot and multiple rounds were fired, but beyond that, there is very little information to release. The crime scene is being processed and witnesses are being sought or interviewed.

From the last information received, both of the shooting victims are supposed to be treated and released from the hospital today.
