Terry named Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week

Austin Peay State UniversityJosh TerryClarksville, TN – Josh Terry, a senior on the Austin Peay State University men’s basketball team, has been named the Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week.

The Henderson, KY. native was named to the College Basketball Experience All-Tournament team after averaging 14.0 points and shooting 66.7 percent from the field in the four games (which also included a game at No. 22 Cal the previous week).

In three CBE tournament sub-regional games against Bowling Green, George Washington, and Detroit the senior forward shot a combined 18-26 (.692) from the field and scored 42 points (14.0 ppg).

The most versatile player for the Governors recorded 12 steals, nine assists, and 22 rebounds in five contests last week (Three games at the CBE Tournament, a road game at Oral Roberts, and a home contest against Middle Tennessee). Terry, also tied his career-high in steals with five against Bowling Green.

The Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week is selected by the APSU Sports Information staff each Tuesday during the academic year. Copies in a Flash, of Clarksville, sponsors the award.

Other notable performances by Austin Peay athletes included:

Junior Leslie Martinez, of the women’s basketball team, finished with 10 points, two rebounds, and three steals at Cal Poly, Saturday. She also had five points and five rebounds against American, Friday. Earlier in the week, Martinez had four points, six rebounds and four steals at Louisville.
