Man Booked on Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Homicide

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – After Police received a tip, they were able to thwart a robbery and potential homicide.

On December 9th, 2011, Police were made aware of a conversation Clint Lee Osborne had in which he advised of his plan to commit an Aggravated Robbery of the Minit Mart at 2690 Trenton Road.

There was an airsoft (replica) handgun available, but Osborne wanted a real handgun so he could shoot the clerk on duty and complete the robbery. Police also discovered, there had been previous conversations about planning the robbery.

Osborne was a former employee of the Minit Mart. Osborne was booked December 10th, 2011 around 1:00am into the Montgomery County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available. The lead investigator is Detective Kevin Rushing. Anyone with information can call, 931.645.8477.
