Crye-Leike welcomes Realtor Alison Cox to its Clarksville, Sango Branch Office

Former Math Teacher Has All Of The Right Answers For Her New Real Estate Clients

Crye-Leike REALTORSClarksville, TN – After 15 years spent helping her math students find all of the right answers, Clarksville Realtor Alison M. Cox is ready to help her buyers and sellers find the right solutions to all of their real estate needs.

Alison recently obtained her real estate license and joined Crye-Leike, REALTORS in its Clarksville, Sango branch office. She was previously a high school math teacher at Rossview High School for the last four years.

“My previous experience as a math teacher will benefit me in numerous ways as an affiliate broker,” said Alison. “There is no one more difficult to sell than a math student. If I can help sell math students on listening in class, completing homework and successfully passing Algebra, I think real estate will be a great fit for me.”

Immediately after graduating from college with a Mathematics and Secondary Education degree, Alison started her long and successful career as a math teacher. She recently decided it was time for a career change and wanted to peruse a lifelong career goal of getting into the real estate business.

“I’ve always had a passion for looking at houses and known that I belonged in real estate sales,” said Alison. “With my husband nearing retirement and having led a stable career for many years, now seemed like the best time that I could make real estate fit in my life. Both of my parents were in real estate at some point in their lives and I just decided the shoe finally fit me too!”

Alison works with buyers and sellers in and around Montgomery and Cheatham counties. She specializes in all types of residential real estate sales focusing on relocation and new home construction. She is a member of the Tennessee Association of Realtors, the Clarksville Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

“I could not be happier about my decision to become a licensed Realtor and am truly enjoying learning the ropes,” said Alison. “I have a new found respect for professionals in this business. I don’t think most people realize how much work goes into one real estate transaction. I believe my math skills will be a tremendous benefit for me to help clients understand all aspects of their real estate transaction and close the deal quickly.”

Alison lives in Clarksville, Tennessee with her husband Clint and children Garrett and Madaline. Toward the end of January, her husband will take command of 1-75CAV at Fort Campbell, KY where she will serve as the Family Readiness Group Advisor for his unit. In her free time, Alison enjoys exercising, spending time with her family and friends and supporting her kids’ activities of soccer and horseback riding.

“I chose Crye-Leike for two reasons,” said Alison. “I was offered the opportunity to be the assistant to successful Realtor Hal Mathews who has worked at the Sango office for many years. I feel there’s no better way to learn the business than from a highly respected, fair, generous and successful businessman. When I interviewed with Managing Broker David Greene, I just felt like I fit in perfectly with everyone at the office!”
