Clarksville, TN – Youth enrolled in the LEAP Intern program welcome Attorney Joe Sweeten to the Emmanuel Family Life Center. As part of their continued service to the community, the youth have begun reaching out to businesses occupying space within the Emmanuel Center to assist with moving in and getting settled.
“Although these businesses are for profit, I believe it’s still important for our youth to give back to them. More often than not, youth and nonprofit organizations solicit the support of our business community without ever really giving back to them directly” commented LEAP Executive Director Richard “Reason” Garret.
Emmanuel Family Life Center Facilities Manager Edith Kidd, had this to say, “It was good seeing the LEAP Kids and the parents working side by side assembling several office desks and cabinets for our newest tenant”
The mission of the Emmanuel Family Life Center is to promote Christian values through a healthier community and empowering youth, families, and senior citizens to participate in programs and activities that enhance the quality of life for all people living and working in Montgomery County.
Businesses are able to rent office space within the center for $300.00 a month which includes utilities and internet. For additional information on renting office space or facility usage, contact Edith Kidd at 931.647.4341.
