Clarksville Police report an Unidentified Pedestrian in Extremely Critical Condition after walking out in Front of a Pick-Up Truck

Pedestrian is in extremely critical condition after being hit by a pick-up truck

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On February 14th, 2012, a little before 6:00pm, a 2007 Nissan Frontier driven by Justin Norton, 26, of Clarksville, was traveling in the left lane of southbound Riverside Drive and switched to the right lane, at which time, an unidentified pedestrian exited McGregor Park onto southbound Riverside Drive into the path of the Nissan.

The Nissan struck the pedestrian in close proximity to the 600 block of North Riverside Drive.

The unidentified pedestrian was taken by Lifeflight to Vanderbilt with head injuries and is in extremely critical condition.

The pedestrian had no identification and Police are asking for assistance to identify him. He is a W/M, between 16-25 years old, possibly wore glasses, was wearing gray jeans, gray/black hoodie, blue/red shirt, and blue/gray Nike hightop sneakers.

The lead investigator is Clarksville Police Officer Bill VanBeber.
