Clarksville, TN – Budweiser of Clarksville made a $1000 donation to Habitat for Humanity Women Build 2012 in an effort to raise $30,000 in sponsorships to build a new home for a qualified low-income Habitat partner family.
Women Build is a women-led committee dedicated to developing resources to build the home. Women from Montgomery County are dedicating their time and experience to raise funds and resources in their community for the effort. City Councilwoman Deanna McLaughlin is leading the campaign.
These Women Build leaders are from all sectors of the Clarksville community, such as realty, construction, education and government sectors, but what they have in common is the vision of decent communities and decent homes through “faith in action.”“We’re very excited that Charles Hand, and Budweiser of Clarksville supports our effort. We’re hopeful other like minded business leaders in our community will also help support what we’re doing,” said McLaughlin.
The family entering into partnership with Habitat will work side-by-side with Women Build to construct their home, learning about maintenance and homeownership at the same time. At the end of the build, a special home dedication wraps up the exciting event with prayer and fellowship.
