Clarksville Police arrest Two Men for Forcing their way into a Moble Home and Assaulting the Occupants with a Baseball Bat

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On February 26th, 2012, around 3:50am, officers responded to 83 Cedar Crest Drive in reference to an Aggravated Assault. When Clarksville Police Officers arrived, they were told that two men had forced their way into the mobile home.

The two men, who knew some of the mobile home occupants, assaulted two men, 21 and 22 years old with a baseball bat and fled from the scene in a white Ford Mustang. A description of the vehicle and suspects was distributed to patrol units in the area.

Antonio Toledo-Gonzales and Martin Toledo-Gonzales were arrested for Aggravated Assault and Burglary.

Officer John Platt spotted the vehicle on Providence Boulevard near Beech Street. He turned around and pulled the vehicle over as it turned onto Kraft Street.

The vehicle and occupants matched the description given to officers by the victims. There was also a baseball bat with blood on it found inside of the vehicle.

The suspects were positively identified by the victims and witnesses.

The two victims had head wounds, were treated at the scene by EMS, but declined further medical attention.
