The price was  $6.00 a dinner. Each dinner included a bowl of chili, cornbread, crackers, drink and dessert.

“”We had a really good turnout this year,” stated Cunningham Volunteer Fire Department Fire Chief Brandon Butch McCurdy. “The Cunningham community has always been very supportive of us and we really appreciate it.”

The Stringed Legacy provided bluegrass music for the evening. For most of the night, people were coming and going from the supper, staying to listen to some great music and just mingling and talking with their neighbors.

By the end of the evening, over 25 gallons of chili had been served. “I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that came out tonight,” said McCurdy. “The local community has always been good to us. It’s great to have such community involvement.”

In March, the Cunningham Volunteer Fire Department Fire will be putting on an Easter Egg hunt.
