City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department lines up activities for annual Easter Egg Hunt

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The annual Spring Eggstravanganza has been scheduled for April 7th, 2012 at Heritage Park Baseball Fields.

The fun begins at 2:00pm with kids from four different age groups, ages 3-4, 5-6, 7-9, and 10-12, hunting over 20,000 candy and prize-filled eggs.

Kids can enjoy the River View Mounds Petting Zoo, Clarksville Family Inflatable Zone, play games, have their faces painted, and visit with the Easter Bunny himself. This event is free and open to the public. It will conclude at 5:00pm.

In anticipation of this event, the Easter Bunny will also be hopping on over to each of our three community centers to meet with kids and share his eggs! Join him from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, April 3rd at Kleeman Community Center,  and then at Crow Community Center, April 4th, and again April 5th at Burt-Cobb Community Center.

Spring Eggstravaganza is also sponsored by River View Mounds Century Farm, Clarksville Family Magazine, Lamar Advertising, The Leaf-Chronicle, and WJZM.
