Clarksville Police extradite Homicide Suspect from North Carolina

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On March 3rd, 2012, Clarksville Police officers responded to a shots fired call at Building 6, 1523 Nolen Road. When officers entered the apartment they found Shardae Wright deceased in the bathtub from gunshot wounds. The suspect in the shooting, Nicholas Rico Durant fled the area and was later picked up by the North Carolina Highway Patrol around 10:00am.

On March 9th, 2012, around 2:45pm, Nicholas Rico Durant was extradited from North Carolina. He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with the death of Shardae Wright.

Durant has chosen not to provide Detectives any additional information or insight into the homicide death of Shardae Wright. He is being held without bond.
