The Museum is currently getting an upgrade. The 1898 Customs House Building is being renovated in order to provide an improved environment for both visitors and artifacts.

While these improvements are being made the following areas will be inaccessible: Heritage Hall, Memory Lane, and the DeWald, Peg Harvill, and Explorers’ Galleries.

The renovations on the 1898 building will began on January 30th and continue into April.

There is still plenty to do and see at the Museum during this time.
