Kids gathering Easter eggs at the 2012 Spring Eggstravanganza on Saturday
Riverview Mounds Century Farms hosts one of the most popular attractions with the young people, a petting zoo with various barnyard animals including a calf, and goats that the kids were able to feed. Clarksville Family Magazine provided the the inflatable Zone, a variety of games, and the face painting and air brush booths.
The egg hunts were divided up into several different age groups, 3-4, 5-6, 7-9, and 10-12, with the young folks hunting over 20,000 candy and prize-filled eggs. Clarksville Family Magazine sponsored a coloring contest for each age group, with the winners getting a 15 second head start gathering eggs.
The Easter Bunny had paired up with Chris Hansen of Chris Hansen-Family Photography to capture the kids special moments which will be displayed along with Clarksville Online‘s Photos on the Clarksville Department of Parks and Recreation’s Facebook Page later this week.
Spring Eggstravaganza was sponsored by River View Mounds Century Farm, Clarksville Family Magazine, Lamar Advertising, The Leaf-Chronicle, and WJZM 1400 AM. Security was provided by officers from the Clarksville Police Department.
