Nashville Returns To Music City For Home Opener Friday Night
Oklahoma City, OK – Thewere held to five hits by a trio of Oklahoma City pitchers during a 2-0 shutout loss to the RedHawks on Thursday evening at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
With the defeat, Nashville finished its season-opening road trip with a 2-6 record, going 1-3 against both the New Orleans Zephyrs and the Oklahoma City RedHawks.
The Sounds’ lone hits in the contest were singles off the bats of Erick Almonte, Eric Farris, Caleb Gindl, Paul Phillips, and Logan Schafer. Nashville put a runner into scoring position only three times in the contest.

Nashville, TN – Rookie forward Gabriel Bourque notched two goals in his NHL playoff debut on Wednesday in Game One making him just the third player in the last 14 playoff years to score two goals in his NHL postseason debut; the others were Alexander Radulov in 2007 and Washington’s Mike Green in 2008.

Nashville, TN – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned goaltender Jeremy Smith to Milwaukee (AHL) and recalled goaltender Chet Pickard from the Admirals.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has turned off water service on Jenny Lane to repair a water main leak. Construction crews expect the repair to be complete and water restored by approximately 4:00pm.
The road is open to traffic.
