Austin Peay State University Lady GovsEvansville, IN – Austin Peay’s Morgan Brewer threw eight shutout innings, while Catie Cozart drove in the game winning run in extra innings Wednesday afternoon, as the Lady Govs defeated the Lady Aces 1-0 in the opener before dropping the night cap 4-1.

Cedars of Lebanon to Host Elsie Quarterman Cedar Glade Wildflower Festival April 27th-28th

Fort Defiance Interpretive CenterClarksville, TN – A meet and greet with an Abraham Lincoln impersonator is planned for 2:00pm Saturday, May 12th, 2012, at the Fort Defiance Civil War Park and Interpretive Center, located at 120 Duncan Street.

The event will feature Mr. Whit McMahan as President Abraham Lincoln, and will include a brief speech. Visitors to the event are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs.

Lifesaving “Carmen Burnette” CPR legislation signed into law by Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam

Nashville Predators Practice Report for April 25th

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN – The Nashville Predators got down to business on Wednesday, practicing for a full hour over the two rinks at Centennial Sportsplex. It was the first practice for the team since their Round 2 playoff opponent was determined Monday night.

Nashville will open the Western Conference Semifinal series Friday in Phoenix against the Coyotes.

Nashville Predators vs. Phoenix Coyotes Schedule released for Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs

 

National Hockey LeagueNew York, NY – The National Hockey League today announced the schedule for the first four games for both of the Stanley Cup Playoff Western Conference Semifinals.

The series between the Phoenix Coyotes and Nashville Predators will begin on Friday, April 27th, and will continue with Game 2 on Sunday, April 29th, with both games being played in Phoenix, AZ.
