Mason Rudolph Golf Course and practice facility to host Nike Golf “Demo Day”

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – Golfers in the Clarksville, Fort Campbell area who want to play their best golf, might want to visit the Mason Rudolph Golf Course and practice facility this weekend, as representatives from Nike Golf will host a “demo day” to showcase their new clubs for 2012.

Jeff Vaughn, PGA professional and city golf pro, invites all golfers to come out and try the new clubs, and meet with Nike reps, and learn how to improve their game.  The event will be from noon-5:00pm, Sunday, at Mason Rudolph golf course and practice facility and it’s free and open to the public.

“Golfers will be able to hit the new clubs, and Nike can also show them how far they’re hitting their current equipment and decide if they want to make any changes.  I’ve been impressed with how far Nike Golf has come over the years, and I think area golfers will enjoy meeting with their representatives” said Vaughn.

Mason Rudolph golf course and practice facility is located just off Madison Street on Golf Club Lane, and is the only public practice facility in the Clarksville area.  It features a nine hole golf course as well.  The facility has putting greens and sand traps as well as a driving range for golfers to work on their game.  The Demo Day event will be on the driving range.

“We invite golfers to come by and meet our staff, and members of the Nike Golf family” Vaughn said.

The city of Clarksville maintains two golf courses within the city. In addition to Mason Rudolph, Swan Lake golf course is an eighteen hole course, with a full service pro shop.  Located on Dunbar Cave Road, it sits nestled within the historic Dunbar Cave, and is open for pubic play seven days per week.
