Doctor Mark Green Holds Campaign Event at J. R. Hand’s House with Lieutenant Governor Ron Ramsey

Clarksville, TN – On May 9th, 2012 J. R. Hand opened his home to hold an event for Doctor Mark Green’s campaign for State Senate in District 22, which includes Montgomery, Houston and Stewart Counties.

In attendance for the event were Lieutenant Governor Ron Ramsey, State Senate Majority Leader Mark Norris, State Senate Caucus Chairman Bill Ketron, State Senator Jack Johnson, State Senator Ken Yager, State Senator Brian Kelsey, Commissioner of Economics and Community Development Bill Hagerty and Montgomery County State Representative Curtis Johnson. J. R. Hand’s father Charles Hand was also in attendance.

After an introduction from Lt. Governor Ramsey, Dr. Green spoke about the current state of jobs and the economy in Tennessee. He discussed his vision for moving Tennessee forward and creating an environment for job creation, putting to use his experience as a CEO during a recession. He also talked in detail about the Tennessee tax system, education and TennCare.

Doctor Green is the CEO of Align MD and a practicing emergency room physician. Align MD is a healthcare management company headquartered in Clarksville, Tennessee, which has brought over $2 million jobs to the local community.

The company currently operates in five states in the Southeastern United States.
