Nashville, TN – Mark Rogers turned in one of the best outings of his pro career in leading theto a 1-0 victory over the New Orleans Zephyrs on Tuesday evening at Greer Stadium.
Rogers (2-3) matched a career high with seven scoreless innings of action, scattering five hits during his 86-pitch effort. He walked one batter and fanned three in his third quality start of the season, facing only two batters over the minimum during his outing.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has removed one of the state’s Top Ten Most Wanted fugitives from the list after he was captured Friday afternoon in Rutherford County.
The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office assisted TBI and the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force with a traffic stop near Sam Ridley Parkway on I-24 that led to the arrest.
David Powell, 38, of Smyrna, Tennessee was taken into custody along with his accomplice, Alyssa Cartwright, 36, of McMinnville, Tennessee.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water had closed the outer eastbound lane of Madison Street from Liberty Parkway to Crossland Avenue for natural gas main line maintenance and inspection.
The work was completed sooner than expected. Madison Street is reopened to all lanes of traffic.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water construction crews have turned off water service North First Street from McClure Street to Marion Street to repair a water main leak. Work is expected to be complete and water restored within 2-3 hours.
The road is open to traffic.
