This weeks highlights include:
Annual Independence Day CelebrationThe City of Clarksville, Aetna Insurance and U.S. Bank invite you to celebrate our nation’s Independence Day on July 3rd at McGregor Park. This year’s FREE festivities are set to kick off at 6:00pm. with the music of local favorites Tina Brown and Mike Bryant, followed by Clarksville’s largest fireworks display. With the food, music and fun, everyone is sure to have a great time. People’s Choice Movie- vote now!Voting is coming to an end for this year’s “people’s choice” movie. Visit www.parksafterdark.com , to choose what movie you want to see played at the July 21st showing of the Movies in the Park summer series. Voting ends June 30th. Tone and strengthen the whole body while focusing on the upper back, arms, legs and abdomen with our aqua belly dance class. Classes are held Wednesdays from 5:00pm to 5:45pm at Beachaven pool and Mondays from 5:15pm to 7:00pm at New Providence pool. Cost is $5.00 per class. Prior to the end of program movie showing, The Roxy Regional Theatre’s Summer Playhouse will hold a special performance July 12th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Roxy where participants will be able to show off their dance and improvisation skills they have mastered over the course of the theatre workshop. Acoustic Night at Jammin’ in the Alley
Free concerts take place every third Friday of the month thru October and begin at 7:00pm. In addition to the live music and market vendors, downtown restaurants will offer outdoor dining for Jammin’ in the Alley and night market patrons. Come ready to eat, dance and shop!
