Clarksville Department of Electricity July 4th Storm Update

Clarksville, TN – Storms that moved through Clarksville on July 4th around 5:00pm interrupted electric service to approximately 7,500 CDE customers. Power has been restored to all but about 300 customers.
Outages are concentrated in the following areas: Both sides of Memorial Drive, Richview Road, Indian Hills, Craigmont, Fairway Drive, Hilldale area.
Our goal is to have service restored to all customers today. There are cases where a customer will require an electrician to repair equipment attached to his home or business before we can reconnect our line.
We have many reports of trees on lines. If you see line down, stay away, keep others away and call CDE at 931.648.8151.
