Nashville Sounds postpone Thursday Night Game against the Albuquerque Isotopes

Doubleheader Scheduled For Saturday Evening

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – Tonight’s scheduled homestand opener at Greer Stadium between the Nashville Sounds and Albuquerque Isotopes has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions resulting from heavy rains throughout Middle Tennessee this week.

The game will be made up as part of a 6:05pm doubleheader on Saturday evening, when the two teams will play a pair of seven-inning games.

Prior to Saturday’s contest, musical artist MIKESCHAIR will perform a Trevecca Nazarene University FAITH NIGHTS® pregame concert on the plaza stage near the first-base entrance approximately one hour before the first pitch. Gates open at 4:35pm.

Tickets for tonight’s game (July 12th) may be exchanged at the Greer Stadium box office for a ticket of equal or lesser value, pending availability, to any remaining 2012 regular season Sounds home game.

Right-hander Seth McClung (2-10, 5.17) will toe the rubber for the Sounds in tomorrow’s 7:05pm series opener against Albuquerque righty Fernando Nieve (4-6, 6.62).
