Tennessee Department of Transportation Maintenance Work for Montgomery County area starting July 12th, 2012

Tennessee Department of TransportationNashville, TN – Tennessee Department of Transportation reports Thursday, July 12th through Wednesday July 18th (excluding weekends), from 9:00am-12:00pm, there will be one lane periodically closed on I-24 in both directions in Robertson and Montgomery Counties to move equipment between mile marker 18 and mile marker 12 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway.

One lane will remain open.

On Thursday, July 12th through Wednesday, July 18th, (excluding weekends), from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be alternating lane closures on State Route 374 in both directions in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway between mile marker 0 and mile marker 0.8.

One lane will remain open.

On Thursday, July 12th through Wednesday, July 18th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, (excluding weekends), there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Bridge Rehabilitation on SR 12 over Sycamore Creek

On Monday, July 16th and Tuesday, July 17th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, the State Route 12 will be closed for 20-30 minutes approximately 6 times per day to set bridge beams.

Cheatham County

On Thursday, July 12th through Wednesday, July 18th, (excluding weekends), from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be alternating lane closures on State Route 12 in both directions in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway between mile marker 2 and mile marker 3. One lane will remain open.

On Thursday, July 12th through Wednesday, July 18th, (excluding weekends), from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be alternating lane closures on State Route 249 in both directions in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway between mile marker 0 and mile marker 0.5. One lane will remain open.

Resurfacing on I-40 from Dickson Co. Line to Williamson Co. Line to Cheatham Co. Line to Davidson Co. Line

On Thursday, July 12th through Wednesday July 18th, 8:00pm-6:00pm, there will be alternating lane closures in both directions on I-40 in order to pave.

Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys County

On Thursday, July 12th through Wednesday, July 18th, (excluding weekends), from 6:00pm-10:00pm, there will be alternating lane closures in various locations on I-40 in both directions in Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties to clean bridges and slope mow. One lane will remain open.

Houston County

On Thursday, July 12th through Wednesday, July 18th, (excluding weekends), from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be temporary lane closures for paving over replaced culverts in Houston County at the following locations:

  • State Route 13
    • 1.0 Mile Marker to 5.0 Mile Marker
  • State Route 46
    • 2.0 Mile Marker to 3.0 Mile Marker
    • 5.5 Mile Marker to 6.5 Mile Marker
    • 7.0 Mile Marker to 8.0 Mile Marker

Stewart County

On Tuesday, July 17th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be alternating lane closures in both directions on State Route 76 at mile marker 13.3 (on the Cumberland River Bridge), for bridge inspection. One lane will remain open.
