Clarksville Police investigate early morning Burglary of Kangaroo Express

ATM Pulled Through the Doors and Cash Stolen

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On July 13th, 2012, around 3:45am, Clarksville Police were called to the Kangaroo Market, 1874 Memorial Drive about a commercial burglary.

When officers arrived they found the front glass doors torn down and the ATM laying outside of the store. There were cigarettes stolen and an undisclosed amount of money taken from the ATM.

Kangaroo Express at 1874 Memorial Drive was robbed. The ATM was pulled through the doors and Cash Stolen.

A review of surveillance footage showed multiple suspects, a white flatbed truck with stake sides and a two tone white and gold Ford Explorer involved in the theft from the business. The ATM had chains attached to it and then pulled out of the store.

Police are working on the video and hope to release it shortly.
