Clarksville, TN – Why not celebrate the 25th anniversary of Clarksville Riverfest by giving back? Clarksville Parks and Recreation is currently seeking volunteers to help with soft drink sales, the Blue Cross Blue Shield Adventure Zone children’s area as well as the Cornhole Tournament on September 7th and 8th at McGregor Park.
Volunteers may sign up for the timeslot(s) that best fit their schedule and availability at the Hands on Nashville website. The process is simple, visit www.hon.org and search “Riverfest.” Volunteers may then select the area in which they would like to volunteer and then select the timeslot occurrence that best fits their schedule.
Blue Cross Blue Shield Adventure Zone Volunteers are needed from 4:45pm until 9:00pm on Friday, September 7th and 9:45am until 9:00pm on Saturday, September 8th. These volunteers will be responsible for aiding in the inflatable areas as well as with other children’s attractions and must be at least 15-years-old.
O’Charley’s Cornhole Tournament Volunteers are needed from 12:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, September 8th. These volunteers must be knowledgeable in the scoring of Cornhole as they will be responsible for scoring games in the Cornhole Tournament. Volunteers in this area must be at least 16-years-old.
