Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds scored five runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to come from behind and win 5-3 over the Salt Lake Bees on Saturday night at Greer Stadium. The win was the Sounds’ second consecutive come-from-behind victory against the Bees and 12th of the season.
Twenty of Nashville’s 56 victories this season have come when the Sounds score the winning run in their final turn at the plate, which has been the case in six of the club’s last eight wins.
Designated hitter Taylor Green led the charge, going 3-for-4 with a double and RBI.

Clarksville, TN –‘s football team took advantage of cooler temperatures, Saturday, for its first-two-a-day practices.
With temperatures in the lower 70s to greet the Govs in their morning practice, the Govs adorned full pads for the second straight day. The day’s second practice, held in mid-afternoon, saw the Governors only in shorts.

Fort Campbell, KY – U.S. Soldiers from 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division compete in the August Top Squad competition held August 8th, 2012 at Fort Campbell, KY.
The competition with the representation of soldiers for each of the six battalions has them compete against each other in various events to test their physical and mental toughness.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Department agents Steve Hamilton and Greg Beebe achieved another milestone in their careers and were promoted to the rank of Sergeant in a ceremony held at Police Headquarters.
Family, friends, coworkers, and public officials were on hand to congratulate them. Sgt Steve Hamilton and Sgt Greg Beebe both worked and studied hard to pass the promotion exam. Sgt Hamilton has been with the Police Department since 1998 and Sgt Beebe was hired in 2002.
