Annual Lyon County Between the Rivers Homecoming at Land Between the Lakes Announced

Land Between the LakesGolden Pond, KY – Former residents of the area now known as Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area will gather this fall for their annual Homecoming.

The homecoming event celebrates former residents of the Lyon County, Kentucky portion of LBL.  It will take place Saturday, September 15th, at the Star Camp Picnic Area, just off the Woodlands Trace in the northern portion of LBL.

The yearly reunion at LBL is a chance for former Between the Rivers residents to visit and reminisce.  All former residents, relatives, and friends are invited.  Those attending should bring food, beverages, lawn chairs, and any other picnic or recreation items they wish.  Restrooms, picnic tables, and grills are provided.

Come Outside and Play at Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area.  Managed by the Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Land Between The Lakes provides outdoor recreation, lake access, and environmental education for the public to enjoy.
