Clarksville, TN – On September 13th, 2012 around 5:00pm, David Edmonds, 42, of Clarksville, was driving a 2001 Chevy S-10 South on Old Ashland City Road.
For an unknown reason, he went off the right side of the roadway and struck a mail box at the 2300 block of Old Ashland City Road. The pickup flipped onto its side.
Edmonds was unrestrained and pinned between the roof and roadway. He was extricated and flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and is in stable condition.
Alcohol may have been a factor and charges are pending.
