Clarksville Police find Four Year Old alone crying on her Porch

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On September 14th, 2012 around 10:10pm, Clarksville Police officers responded to a call on Doane Drive in reference to a four old child who could not find her parents. The child was found crying on her porch.

Officer Dennis Honholt was able to calm her down and the four year old lead him into the house. When Officer Honolt went in the house, he found a loaded .380 calibre handgun laying on the table in the living room and readily accessible to the child.

He also saw a loaded 45 calibre handgun visible on top of the refrigerator.

About 15 minutes later, the mother, Shera Stoner, arrived and told the officer she was at a neighbor’s house and thought the child was sleeping. When the officer addressed the issue of the unattended child and handgun with the mother, she didn’t see a problem since the child had never played with the handgun before.

The lead is Officer Dennis Honholt.

Shera Stoner (W/F, DOB: 6/12/81, Given Address: Doane Drive, Clarksville, TN) was cited for: Reckless Endangerment.
