Tennessee Department of Transportation Maintenance Work for Montgomery County area starting September 21st, 2012

Nashville, TN – From Friday September 21st through Wednesday September 26th, (excluding weekends), 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be alternating lane closures on State Route 11 (U.S. 41) in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway between mile marker 2.0 and mile marker 3.0.
One lane will remain open.
From Friday September 21st through Wednesday September 26th, (excluding weekends), 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be periodic lane closures in each direction on I-24 from the 14 mile marker to the 32 mile for chemical control of vegetation.
This will be a moving operation.
From Friday September 21st through Wednesday, September 26th, 9:00am-3:00pm, (excluding weekends), there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
From Thursday September 21st through Wednesday September 26th, 9:00am-3:00pm, and 7:00pm-1:00am, there will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates. All lanes will remain open.
On Thursday September 21st, 8:00pm-1:00am, there will be alternating lane closures at the intersection of Donelson Pike and Murfreesboro Road for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.
On Tuesday September 25th, 7:00pm-3:00am, there will be alternating lane closures at the intersection of Gallatin Road (State Route 31) and Conference Drive for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.
From Thursday September 21st through Wednesday September 26th, (excluding weekends) 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be alternating lane closures on State Route 49 in both directions in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway between mile marker 0 (Cheatham County and Dickson County line) and mile marker 1.0 also between mile marker 3 and mile marker 4. One lane will remain open.
From Thursday September 21st through Wednesday September 26th, (excluding weekends) 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be alternating lane closures on State Route 249 in both directions in order to pave and stripe the roadway between mile marker 0 and mile marker 0.5. One lane will remain open.
From Thursday September 21st through Wednesday September 26th, (excluding weekends) 7:00pm-5:00am, there will be one lane periodically closed on I-40 in both directions in Cheatham County between mile marker 186 and mile marker 192 in order to patch potholes in the concrete bridge decks. One lane will remain open.
Bridge Repair I-40 over Nails Creek (MM 177.8) and Turnbull Creek (MM 179.9)
On Tuesday September 25th and Thursday September 27th, 6:00pm-3:00am, there will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound between mile marker 143.0 and mile marker 149.0 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity. Information in this report is provided to the Department of Transportation by the contractors. Most work is weather dependent and subject to change due to inclement weather.
