APSU Sports: Austin Peay Tennis
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men and women’s tennis teams will host the Austin Peay Fall Invitational, beginning Friday at 2:00pm; the event continues from 8:30am-6:00pm, Saturday and from 8:30am to noon, Sunday. The men will play at the Swan Lake Tennis Complex, while the women will take the outdoor courts on Austin Peay’s campus.
The women’s draw features four flights, with a consolation bracket. The men’s draw and both doubles events have three flights and consolation draws.

Ohio Valley Conference foe SIU Edwardsville will send both its men and women’s programs to the event, while fellow OVC schools Murray State, Eastern Kentucky, Southeast Missouri and UT Martin will send the women’s program only. Western Kentucky (men and women), Northern Alabama (men) and Evansville (women) will also compete.
The Govs men’s team competed at last weekend’s Louisville Invitational, with Sean Bailey advancing to the semifinals of the top draw. The women competed at Belmont earlier in the fall.
