Austin Peay State University announces two college preview days, known as AP Day

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – High school students interested in knowing more about attending Austin Peay State University are encouraged to visit campus during AP Day, October 6th or November 3rd, both of which are Saturdays.

University faculty, staff and students will provide the same informational sessions and activities on both days, scheduled from 12:30pm-5:00pm.

Check-in for both days is 12:30pm in the Foy Fitness and Recreation Center. Signs will direct guests to the center.

During the time, guests will have opportunities to tour the campus and meet with professors and current APSU students.

Prospective students and their parents will meet with staff from the Admissions, Financial Aid, Housing/Residence Life, and Student Life and Leadership offices. Students and guests will hear from APSU administrators, the Student Government Association president and other campus leaders and students.

Official AP Day activities end at 5:00pm, but guests can stick around to tour residence halls, talk with staff from financial aid, housing and admissions and check out the bookstore.

In addition, students may attend a Governors athletic event. For the October 6th AP Day, the football game will be against rival Murray State. Students who visit on November 3rd be able to attend the APSU versus Central Missouri basketball game. Students will need to request ticket vouchers when they sign up online for AP Day.
