Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in a October 2010 Aggravated Assault case which left a 32 year old woman (now 34), Keisha Reed, partially paralyzed, confined to a nursing home, and without a memory of the brutal assault which took place.
Police are trying to breathe life into an Aggravated Assault case which took place on October 6th, 2010. The original call came in to 911 around 7:30pm as a medical call in which a woman was throwing up blood for an unknown reason.
About a week later, Police were contacted after a family member received information that the woman had been body-slammed onto the ground outside of a Greenfield Drive residence. In the meantime, the woman had lapsed into a coma and could not provide any information about the alleged assault.
Police interviewed a possible suspect and supposed witnesses to the incident, but did not receive cooperation and the leads dried up quickly. The woman came out of the coma in February 2011 and was unable to speak.
Since that time, she was admitted to a nursing home, regained the ability to speak, has partial paralysis to the left side of her body, has recurring memory loss and lapses and no recollection of the assault.
