Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department’s Burt-Cobb Community Center is providing an outlet for adults to get physical exercise while burning off some steam.
Burt-Cobb hosts Adult Karate weekly at the center, located at 1011 Franklin Street, for ages 18 and older. Karate takes place on Mondays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and is free with a Community Center ID card. Center IDs are $5.00 and are good for one year at all three Community Centers.
This class, taught by David Fivecoat, increases focus, self esteem, physical fitness, self discipline, self control, goal setting skills, self-defense skills, build more physical and mental confidence and relieve stress as you learn the martial art form of karate as well as martial culture and history.
