Clarksville Parks and Recreation Facilities change Hours for Fall Break Fun

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville’s three community centers and Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence will adjust their hours of operation for the Clarksville Montgomery County School System Fall Break.  From October 8th-12th, all three community centers will be open from 10:00am to 7:00pm.

The Indoor Aquatic Center will remain open from 7:00am to 8:00pm. All facilities will resume normal operating hours on Saturday, October 13th.

Each community center as well as the Indoor Aquatic Center have lots of opportunities for Fall Break fun; the Burt-Cobb Community Center will have Archery for school-aged children on Monday, Basketball drills and relays on Tuesday, Wii bowling tournaments on Wednesday and a Snow Cone party on Friday.

All Centers will host Amanda Shirley as she teaches about healthy food choices. Shirley will be at the Kleeman Community Center Monday, October 8th at 11:00am, the Crow Community Center on Tuesday, October 9th at 11:00am and the Burt-Cobb Center on Wednesday, October 10th at 12:00pm Admission to any of our Centers is free with a Community Center ID card.

ID cards are $5.00 and are good at all three Centers for an entire year. Discounted pricing is available for families with multiple children.

During the extended hours at the Indoor Aquatic Center, patrons can enjoy the AquaClimb, climbing wall and the AquaRun inflatable obstacle course.  Access to these features is unlimited with a $2.00 wristband. Admission to the pool is $3.00 Monday-Friday.
