APSU Extended and Distance Education offers Fall Classes starting November 1st

 

Early Registration discount on Selected Courses

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Develop a new skill, explore a new idea, learn a new language, or seek a new career with one of the upcoming classes from Austin Peay State University’s Center for Extended and Distance Education.

Register early and receive a 10 percent discount on selected courses. Preregistration is required for each course.

Professional development

Human Resources Certificate – Part 3 will meet from 6:00pm–8:00pm, Thursdays, November 15th–December 20th at APSU’s McReynolds Building, Room 203. (course $124.00, supply $7.00)

Pharmacy Technician Certificate will meet from 6:00pm–9:30pm, Monday and Wednesdays, November 14th–February 27th at APSU’s McReynolds Building, Room 219. (course $1099)

Personal development

American Sign Language Part 2 will meet from 6:00pm–8:15pm, Monday, November 5th-December 17th at APSU’s Clement Building, Rooms 121.

Parenting and Divorce, the court-mandated seminar for divorcing parents, will meet in Montgomery County from 9:00am–1:00pm, Saturday, November 3rd at APSU, Clement Building, Room 121. (course $40.00, text $15.00)

Tennessee Small Business Development Center

Starting and Financing a Small Business will meet from 8:15am–11:15am, Tuesday, October 30th at the ACS-ACAP Center, Fort Campbell, KY. (free)

The Center for Extended and Distance Education offers interactive television (ITV or videoconferencing) services.  ITV provides essential real-time communication capability for a variety of functions. Details are available at www.apsu.edu/ext-ed/itv.

The center partners with Montgomery Rider Education Program in offering a motorcycle rider safety course. For more information or to register, contact the program director, Dee Gleason, at 931.648.2208 between 9:00am and 4:00pm, weekdays.
