6th Annual Walk to Remember and Infant and Pregnancy Loss Remembrance Ceremony October 24th

Community invited to honor parents who have lost infants

Blanchfield Army Hospital - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – Blanchfield Army Community Hospital is scheduled to host the 6th Annual Walk to Remember and Infant and Pregnancy Loss Remembrance Ceremony October 24th in honor of parents who have experienced perinatal and neonatal loss.

Everyone is invited to meet in the hospital’s A Building lobby in the Patient Entrance Wednesday at noon.

“We extend an especially warm welcome to everyone who has been affected by the loss of a infant, as well as their supportive friends and family,” said BACH Chaplain, Maj. Ladislao Hernandez.

Participants will meet in the hospital lobby at noon to celebrate and reflect on the short lives of our “Eaglets,” the infants who are no longer with us. There will be a butterfly release, guest speaker and memorial cupcakes. The Walk to Remember will begin at 12:45pm and participants will complete the half mile loop around the hospital.

This special event will come to a close at 1:30pm.
