Clarksville, TN – On Friday October 26th, 2012, a Department-wide Chili Cook-off will be hosted by the City of Clarksville. The event will benefit the United Way.
City of Clarksville Departments will compete for “Best Chili,” “Best Side,” Best Dessert,” and “Best Showmanship” trophies. The event will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the lower parking lot of City Hall. Tickets, which include chili sampling and a drink, are available for $5.00. Krispy Kreme will also be on hand with fresh doughnuts.
“I want to thank all of the people involved in making this event happen again this year. It’s a great way to sample some really good food and support a great organization at the same time,” said Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan.
Both tiers of the employee parking lot at City Hall will be closed for the event.
