APSU Sports: Austin Peay Women’s Basketball
Clarksville, TN – Six players scored 10 or more points as Austin Peay State University women’s basketball team cruised to a 101-67 exhibition victory against NAIA foe Martin Methodist, Monday night at the Dunn Center.
Clarksville, TN – Due to a leak, the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department has temporarily closed the kiddie pool at the Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane. Only the kiddie pool area will be closed and the rest of the facility will be open for swimmers.

This is an election year in the 7th Congressional District of Tennessee, but based on Marsha Blackburn’s recent actions you wouldn’t know it. Blackburn seems to feel that she has a god given entitlement to her re-election, and that she doesn’t need to bother spending time during the election season actually campaigning for the votes of the residents of our district.
Indeed at a recent all candidates debate held as a part of the Lawrence County Business and Professional Women forum Blackburn didn’t bother to show up to speak to her constituents.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department conducted impaired driving saturation patrols November 2nd-3rd, 2012 partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.
During this time, there were 126 vehicles stopped and 135 charges issued.
