Sporting Clay Shoot to benefit This Able Veteran this Saturday

this ABLE VeteranSouthside, TN – There will be a a fundraising event for This Able Veteran this Saturday, November 10th, at Montgomery County Shooting Complex. This will be a 100 Bird Event. There will be four man teams (Single Shooters will be Squaded).

Registration begins at 11:00am. There will be a lunch (included) at 11:30am. The First Bird will be at 12:30pm. Additional events are 5-Stand and Mark or Break from 9:00am to 11:00am. All proceeds go to This Able Veteran to train service dogs for veterans with injuries during service.

On August 9th, 2012, This Able Veteran held their inaugural graduating class of six heroes and their Service Dogs. They are hoping to have another class graduate in late spring 2013.

All of the work they do is accomplished by volunteers and they cover all of the costs including obtaining and training the Service Dogs, a multi-week on-site training class with the veterans and Service Dogs, follow-up, and any attendant expenses.

So come out Saturday and shoot of a cause. The Montgomery County Shooting complex is located at 4201 Southside Road, Southside, TN.

This Able Veteran is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization training and providing Service dogs for veterans with injuries from their service. We receive no government funding and the work we do is possible only through the generosity of donors.
