Hybrid Youth Career Development Program


Youth Career Development ProgramClarksville, TN – The LEAP Organization, Daymar Institute, Kohls, Manna Cafe, Montgomery County Youth Services, and Youth Employment Services have partnered to operate a Youth Career Development Program.

The goal of the program is to prepare youth to be able to successfully obtain employment by providing interview technique coaching, resume writing instructions, provide relevant work experience, and job placement assistance with employers.

Youth Career Development Program

  • Open to youth ages 15 to 18
  • Must complete an application, undergo an interview, and be selected
  • 6 weeks paid classroom instruction at Daymar Institute on Saturdays for 2 hours
  • 6 weeks paid feeding the hungry with Manna  Café on Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday for 2 to 3 hours each day
  • Hourly wage $7.50 to $10.00 based on attendance/performance.

The duration of the program is 12 weeks. It will end with a ceremony at which students will receive a certificate of completion. During this ceremony participants will be able to share what they learned from their experience and take part in speed interviews with potential employers.
