Austin Peay State University GovernorsClarksville, TN – Austin Peay will attempt to go 2-0 for the second time in three seasons as it travels to Bowling Green, KY, to face former Ohio Valley Conference rival Western Kentucky, 7:00pm, Tuesday, in E.A. Diddle Arena.

The Governors are coming off a 75-64 home win against Samford-only the fifth time in Dave Loos’ 23 seasons APSU opened the season at home.

Chrysler recalls certain model year 2002-2004 Jeep Liberty and Jeep Grand Cherokee Vehicles, over 700,000

 

National Highway Traffic Safety AdministrationWashington, D.C. – Chrysler is recalling certain model year 2002 and 2003 Jeep Liberty vehicles manufactured January 9th, 2001, through March 28th, 2003, and 2002 through 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles manufactured February 13th, 2001, through May 23rd, 2003.

A component in the air bag control module may fail causing the front airbags, side curtain airbags, and/or seatbelt pretensioners to deploy inadvertently while the vehicle is being operated.

Austin Peay Governors Basketball’s Travis Betran named OVC Newcomer of the Week

 

Ohio Valley ConferenceClarksville, TN – Travis Betran, who scored 13 points and provided suffocating defense in his Austin Peay State University basketball debut, has been named Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week.

The Kilgore College transfer connected on a trio of three pointers in his debut and authored the night’s most impressive dunk in tallying his first double-digit scoring performance as APSU won its season opener, 75-64, against Samford.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department to begin Delia Drive Water Main Replacement Work

Clarksville Gas and Water DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water will begin a month-long water main line replacement project on Tuesday, November 13th, on Delia Drive.
