Austin Peay Governors Basketball have costly turnovers in loss to DePaul

Austin Peay State University GovernorsRosemont, IL – DePaul turned 18 first-half turnovers into 31 points as it rolled past Austin Peay State University, 98-67, Saturday afternoon in second-round action of the Triple Crown Cancun Challenge, played at Allstate Arena.

Tourney action will now move to the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun for the tourney’s final two days of action, beginning Tuesday.

American Honda recalls Portable Generators Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. Generators recalled due to a possible fuel leak that poses a fire and burn hazard.

It will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools and only the second time Austin Peay has played a member of the America East Conference – they defeated Boston University during the 2000-01 season.

Clarksville Community Centers to close temporarily for annual maintenance

Clarksville Police reports Two Incidents of Car Windows being Shattered along Interstate 24

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department wants to make the public aware that there have been two incidents of vehicles traveling on I-24 westbound between mile marker 9 and 10 when their driver side windows were shattered.

On November 9th, 2012, around 1:00pm, a man from out of state was driving westbound on I-24 in an F-250 pickup westbound and when his driver side window was shattered between mile marker 9 and 10.

Austin Peay State University GIS Center develops app for Clarksville Academy

 

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Earlier this year, officials with Clarksville Academy brainstormed ways to improve communication with parents, current students and prospective students. They decided to create iCougar, an app for the Apple iPad and iPhone.

The idea was to make it a centralized digital location for information on the school, but then came the next question – how do you create an app?

Montgomery Central High School Golf signing

 

Montgomery Central High SchoolCunningham, TN – Montgomery Central High School’s  KayCee Lindberg  has signed with Union University. KayCee had a great year for Central.

She is the Region 5 champion, finished 4th at the State Tournament and was voted to the all state team.

Clarksville Police Department reports Man dies from November 10th Motorcycle Crash

Austin Peay State University GovernorsClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team continues its busy early signing period by adding Logan Gray, of Leawood, Kansas, via a national letter of intent, Friday.
