Austin Peay Governors Basketball lose to Gardner-Webb 62-52 in Mayan Division title game of Triple Crown Cancun Challenge

Austin Peay State University GovernorsCancun, Mexico – Gardner-Webb used a 12-3 second-half run to break open a close game and then held off Austin Peay State University, 62-52, Wednesday afternoon, to claim the Mayan Division title in the Triple Crown Cancun Challenge, played at the Moon Palace Resort.

Clarksville Police arrest Man for Shooting his 15 Year Old Brother in the Head

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On November, 21st around 5:08am, Clarksville Police were called to 1594 Vista Lane, apartment #3 in reference to a 15 year old male who had been shot in the head.

When officers arrived on scene, they found the 15 year old inside of the residence with a gunshot wound to the head.  The 15 year old was conscious and breathing and was taken by Lifeflight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Clarksville City Offices closed for Thanksgiving Holiday

 

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan is reminding everyone that all City of Clarksville offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 22nd and 23rd, 2012, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Clarksville City offices will reopen on Monday, November 26th, 2012 for regularly scheduled business hours.

Go Commando Half Marathon donates $40,000 to Local Organizations

 

Go Commando Half Marathon and 5kClarksville, TN – The Go Commando Half Marathon and 5k presented by CDE Lightband announced Thursday they would donate $40,000 to local non-profits and community organizations. The largest recipients, Clarksville Area YMCA and Fort Campbell Historical Foundation were on hand to accept the donations.

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital streamlines clinic hours, opens more appointments during peak hours

Blanchfield Army Hospital - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – After surveying the times patients were least likely to visit their primary care clinics, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital leadership has decided to reduce clinic hours and offer more appointments during peak times.
