Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – Registration for a Tennessee Hunter Education course will be required to be made online beginning January 1st, 2013 on the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s website.

Clarksville Police Department Saturation Patrol Statistics from November 23rd and 24th, 2012

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department conducted impaired driving saturation patrols November 2nd-3rd, 2012 partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.

During this time, there were 126 vehicles stopped and 135 charges issued.

Austin Peay Governors Basketball’s Travis Betran named APSU Athlete of the Week

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Junior guard Travis Betran, of the Austin Peay State University men’s basketball team, has been named the Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week.

Betran averaged 20 points in two games at the Cancun Challenge, shooting 56 percent (15-of-27) from the field. He drilled eight three-pointers – four in each contest.

Clarksville Police respond to Robbery Claim that turns out to be False Report

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On November 26th, 2012, around 4:00pm, Clarksville Police Officers were mobilized across the city in response to an armed robbery which had just occurred.

A 25 year old man, Keith Ferrero, called 911 and  told the call taker that a man had just taken his AUDI A4 and was headed toward town on Fort Campbell Boulevard. The man did not show a weapon, but made the threat that he had one.
