 Fort Campbell, KY – Due to weather conditions at their current location, the 2nd Brigade Combat Team “Strike” flight has been delayed. The new time for the Strike Welcome Home Ceremony is now scheduled for Wednesday morning, December 5th, 2012 at 2:00am.
The soldiers returning home include members of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team and members of the 716th Military Police.The soldiers are returning home from a 9 month deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom where the Strike Teams were in charge in transitioning military power over to the Afghan National Security Forces.

If you wish to attend a Welcome Home Ceremony, check the flight schedules online, as times are subject to change at anytime. When arriving to Fort Campbell, enter via Gate 7; if you don’t have installation stickers on your vehicle, you will be required to get a visitor pass. From there just follow the signs to the ceremony parking. Waiting buses transport family members safely to the hanger.
