The 2012 Christmas Parade
Clarksville, TN – Residents of Clarksville-Montgomery County gathered in Historic Downtown Clarksville on Saturday for the the 53rd Annual Christmas Parade.The Christmas parade is an opportunity for local businesses, schools, and organizations to showcase their Christmas spirit. This year’s theme was “Christmas Around the World”.
The parade is a partnership between the City of Clarksville, Montgomery County Tennessee, and this year’s presenting sponsor Agero.
Santa Claus waves to the kids as he passes through Historic Downtown Clarksville
The lighted Christmas parade is something to see as floats from area businesses and community and civic organizations compete to see who can have the most festive Christmas themed float.
This year’s parade also featured some of the best musical talents including the Austin Peay State University Governors Own Marching Band, Tennessee State University Band, as well as bands from area schools.
