After checking in Thursday night and a pair of Friday practice sessions, the South team will play the North. The South team will be coached by North Carolina Central staff members while the North will be mentored by coaches from Johnson C. Smith University.

Stark enjoyed a superb career, especially his final two Govs seasons. In fact, the 6-3, 206-pound wideout caught 120 passes over his last two seasons, including 67 as a senior-to tie for second in all-time single-season receptions-while also hauling in 10 scoring tosses from quarterback Jake Ryan. Overall the Memphis, TN native finished with 142 catches to tie him for fourth all-time in receptions, with his 1706 receiving yards ranking sixth all-time.

Adams’ final season was his finest. The 6-5, 245-pound tight end caught 15 passes for 149 yards. He also carried the ball 12 times for 56 yards against Culver-Stockton.  The Kingsport, TN native began his career as a wide receiver but grew into the tight end position.

Both Adams and Stark should be targets of at least one of the south quarterbacks-UT Martin’s Derek Carr. That trio along with Skyhawks kicker Cody Sandlin are the Ohio Valley Conference representatives in the contest.

This is the third year for the bowl game, the brainchild of co-founder Peter St. Laurence to showcase talent from the 124 FCS programs.
