Clarksville Police Department holds ceremony for Retiring Officers

Clarksville, TN – On December 14th, 2012, a room full of friends, coworkers, and well-wishers were at the retirement ceremony for Clarksville Police Officer Danny Greene and Clarksville Police Detective Larry Boren.

The mood was jovial and there was a little bit of roasting going on.

The respect for Danny Greene and Larry Boren permeated the room. It’s a great day when you can see a fellow law enforcement officer safely reach retirement, but there is a certain amount of sadness saying farewell to a friend.

Boren had 25 years with the department and Greene had 28 years.
